UN-VEILED: Custom Wedding Shoes
June 26, 2009
Custom wedding shoes that won’t break the bank? I just discovered that Nina Shoes has a new option on their website that lets you design your own shoes. I created a fab pair for $199. You pick the style, heel height, and color. There are 16 shades to choose from, and you can choose different colors for the upper, heel, and bow (though I’m not sure I would recommend a three-tone shoe!). A great idea for your shoes, and your bridesmaids’. Unleash your inner Louboutin! –Christina, Un-Veiled
CUBICLE CHAT: Operation Dream Dress Winner!
June 25, 2009
We unveiled the winner of Operation Dream Dress this morning, live on Good Morning America. It was a tough decision—the five final designs were both unique and inspired. According to Diane Sawyer, each of the gowns was “dazzling”–and we have to agree! After the on-air fashion show, editor in chief Millie Bratten revealed that Amy Wong Micucci from Beverly Hills, CA, would go home with $10,000—and the distinction of having her dress photographed for the cover of our November/December issue. If you love it, you’ll be able to wear it for your wedding, since it will be manufactured by David’s Bridal this fall. Best of luck to all of our contestants, and we look forward to seeing all of your entries next year. –Jackie, Cubicle Chat
